UMT Student Login

Welcome to myHousingPortal!


myHousingPortal will be unavailable starting the morning of Monday, November 18th until the morning of Wednesday, November 20th for maintenance.

To Apply or Re-enter your existing application, select the UMT Student Login link at the right of the screen. You will need your NetID and password to log in.

Have you been accepted to the University of Montana for Fall 2020 or Spring of 2020? The housing applications for the Academic Year 2020-2021 and the Spring Only 2020 will open in early October.

If you do not know your NetID you can use the NetID Lookup page to find it. If you have not logged into a NetID service before (such as CyberBear or UMConnect Student Email) your intial password will be the last 6 digits of your student ID number (790) which can be found on your University acceptance letter. If you have forgotten your password you can use the Password Reset page or contact the IT Help Desk at (406) 243-4357.

Please note that only students who have been offically accepted by the University of Montana may apply.

If you are UM faculty or staff and are not able to login please submit a myHousingPortal Account Request form to request access to the applications.

All Residence Halls are available to single students working on their undergraduate or graduate degree. They offer a variety of room types within nine Halls including singles, doubles, triples, 3-person pods, and 4-person suites.

Offers furnished 2- and 3-bedroom apartments for single students with 60+ earned credits or students with 24-59 credits who have at least a 2.5 GPA and no conduct issues.
